It requires rich nations to support lower-income countries in adapting and transitioning to low-carbon economies. Climate justice means prioritizing the rights of those most impacted by climate change in climate plans and policies – ensuring affected communities have their voices heard and their solutions funded so they can drive climate action. We recognize that climate change, poverty, and inequality are deeply interconnected, and that addressing the crisis will only succeed if we transform the underlying economic system by focusing on these four themes:
